oh one more thing that thing with the jello is that just the paste or did you actually make jello out of it

Just rip open the package and sprinkle it over your bait. Its the last thing that I put out when I bait. You want the jello powder on top where it will produce more fragrance. It is very potent fragrance-wise and it will bring in bears.

don't buy the sugar free kind there's less in the box and don't taste as good! I put out about 4 boxes worth

Used cooking grease and it's free.

Used fry grease from the local fast food joint works awsome. Most restaraunts will be willing to give it away. I tried this on a bait this spring and it was impressive. On one night alone we had over 12 bear in the bait (got it all on camera). We had our bait drum chained to a tree but spread the grease on a log and around the surrounding area and the bear actually ate the end of the rotten log!!! They also tore up the ground that we spread the grease on. I'm not sure if I will ever bait again, but if I do this is the way I will go. We deffinatly had more bear in on the nights we used grease than on the other nights.

I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.
I carry in a loaf of bread with a 1 gallon milk jug of fryolator grease.
spread the loaf of bread on the ground and pour the grease over it.
I tried some honey in a sugarcone icecream dish and some cow molasses in a sugarcone dish, the bear walk right past the 2 dishes and headed straight for the greased bread first. I use an old stump with moss on it as a diner table and they tear it apart chasing the grease.

I got skunked this year Nothing was hittin and had someone stealing bait talk about BS but ahh well hopefully they start up the spring bear hunt here again and I'll get another chance.

Oh ya and i use nothing but meat scraps and jello powder.
