I saw today that they made Fox TV. No doubt Michael Steel has a place for them.

Frankly, these seem more disturbing to me. Something about teaching kids to sing praises to the Dear Leader just creeps me out.

Actually the first vid is of some high school age black guys praising their own aspirations to become professionals and how they were inspired by Obama. I'm glad they are inspired to do something. Video seemed to be a lot more about them than about the prez. Of course the fact that they were wearing camo pants and lining up is probably enough to create fear in some minds.

The idea that someone is creeped out by the second video actually creeps me out. How someone can be offended by some children singing is scary. Have you watched the other videos by the same poster PoliticalWazoo? Seems like he/she is an extreme racist. You know, like that guy that shot a guard in the Holocost Museum. Do you share the PoliticalWazoo's hatred of black people?

I like Young Cons rapping video a lot more than the reactionary racist videos by PoliticalWazoo. The Young Cons are at least for something and can ryme. No matter what political stripe most peope would enjoy the Young Cons. Racist haters are thankfully being marginalized in modern political discourse.

Since when do camo pants create fear? And the insinuation that I'm "afraid" of young black men wearing BDUs and acting military is patently offensive and incredibly bigoted. Same thing with you throwing the race card whenever somebody questions any left-wing position involving a black person.

So the young men are "inspired." Great. What gets me is the robotic "Because of Obama I aspire to become an architect." Not because of Lincoln, not because of Douglass, not because of King, not because of Benjamin O. Davis, not because of Rosa Parks, not because of the Civil Rights act. Because of Obama -- who has done nothing to give them the freedom and opportunities their ancestors didn't have.

So until Obama's candidacy, these young men didn't think they could aspire to higher education? Why? Who's been telling them that they can't take charge of their own destinies? Who's been telling them that they could become professionals "if only?"

Rather than teach these young men how to become great, the teacher is telling them the Dear Leader Obama's existence has made all things possible, and in return these young men are chanting his praises and announcing in effect that all they are is becaue of him. It's cultish.

As for brainwashing little kids, I'll attach the following and ask "How can someone be offended by some children singing?"

I am absoultely astonished that more inspired young black men never seem to praise Bill Cosby. That guy has certainly done his fair share of trying to inspire not only black kids, but all young Americans to get up on their feet and become decent succesful people and to take ownership for their lives. I don't know of too many modern day celebrities who have gone as far as Cosby has and inspiring as much as he has tried to.

I will say that I also find children and militant young adults singing praises to Obama to be very reminisent of national socialism during the third reich. Pretty creepy. Never before has any American president had this done buy brainwashed follower. Here in the USA we do not worship our presidents the way many dictators in other countries require their people to worship them.

Now maybe I'm not getting the point of this topic but I have nothing against African American young people being inspired by the first African American president. I certainly disagree with his politics but i'm not so blinded by that as to dislike or be threatened by everything about him. Despite my differing opinion with him on most social and political issues there is much to be admired about him as a human being. Or did I miss the point as I sometimes do? I only ask as anytime I find myself agreeing with Pangolin I worry. Big smile

Great point, CVC.

And yes, Bunny, I think you missed the point. It's not about respecting Obama's historic significance. It's about using taxpayer dollars (this was in school) to indoctrinate youth to display that kind of cultish worship of a political leader.

Think about it -- if a teacher had a bunch of white kids dress in militaristic uniforms and recite choreographed, robotic praises of George Bush, what would've been the reaction?

Uhm.. Expatriate, check out your video, it's not school, it's not your taxpayer's dollars, it's someone's private home during the campaign. It's some little kids singing a song at some rich lefty's house, not Glen Beck.

Take a couple deep breaths maybe.

The only folks going on about Obama worship are the dead enders over on Fox. Here's splices of Fox then and now, can you tell which is which?

Ummm...the first video was orchestrated and posted by a school teacher -- who got suspended as a result. Google it and catch up.
