YES! Drew my pronghorn tag but...

I have never hunted antelope but have read and researched it quite abit over the last two years. Me and my family put in for WY unit 48 doe tags and I was very excited to find out that we had drawn them. Now the real work begins. One of our elk hunting buddies pretty much picked the unit to put in for and is now flaking out.

I would greatly appreciate any help I can get as to where to start looking. We have never been to the area and tips on good places to hunt, scout, camp etc would all be huge. Thanks for your tips in advance.

First, check the WGF site. Wyoming has all sorts public access on private land programs. Many large ranches allow antelope hunting only. They have Walk-In areas, Hunter Management areas and probably some other programs. Some you have to get permission for ahead of time, others you just go on out without talking to the landowner. Then if you harvest, they want the landowner coupons from your tag so they get reimbursed for letting you hunt.
If there isn't much available, Wyoming also has a tremendous amount of BLM, so head over to Jax and pick up a map of your area.

We hunt in unit 47....just east of 48. We hunt the north end of the unit and there seemas to be a lot of ground up there. South end of 47 is more hilly...so I would assume 48 to be similar....the farther north we go to land flattens out and we see more wildlife.
