I actually have a buddy who is a big Broncos fan, and as soon as I heard about this, I sent him a text telling him that his boy got fired. I got a one word reply.... "Good!"
Let's see, you trade away your franchise quarterback, who after a down year, is having another great one. You get rid of an unknown Peyton Hillis, who is sort of doing okay in Cleveland. You trade away Brandon Marshall because you couldn't get along with him????? And, to top it all off, you waste a first round draft pick on a hybrid quarterback, and don't even play him at all.
Eeven though Im was ready for him to go a month ago...I thought for sure he would atleast finish the season off. I have chatted with some guys here at work and been listening to the radio and have to hear from anyone that is sorry he got fired. Hopefully we can recover from this and move on and back to winning ways we are always used to.
Over the years I have seen several elk and deer hides left in the woods by hunters and I have to wonder why they do this? I fully understand and agree about getting the hide off the animal as soon as possible to cool the meat, but why not pack out the hide with you and use it? As far as I know there are no state laws that require you to take the hide home, but to me why waste such a beautiful part of the animal? Some might think they have no use for the hide or it costs too much to tan....
