unit 75 is north of Jackson Hole. It is a roughly 6 week hunt that gives a few lucky souls the opportunity to hunt the elk moving from yellowstone and grand teton national park onto the national elk refuge. The hunt basically borders the refuge. Most of the elk seem to know what is up so the move at night. I have one of the few NR either sex tags but there is also a few hundred cow hunts. I think they give 100 total res and non res either sex tags. I read somewhere that this hunt specifically has 18 bulls in B&C.
Thanks for the welcome.
When placing a trail camera don't just look for a well used trail. What you want to do is look for a freshly used trail off by itself that goes from a north facing ridge, thick forest, brushy knob or some other similar bedding area to a food source. Don't forget water sources. Especially in the summer months the deer need water so look for a good trail going down too a creek surrounded by thick cover and place the camera 100 yards up from the water source.
Scent control is very important...
