Wyoming Non-Res Deer and Antelope Posted Online

Wyoming has posted Non-Resident Deer and Antelope online.

http://wgfd.wyo.gov/web2011/hunting-1000589.aspx

Both my boys (14 & 17) drew buck antelope, and I drew 2 antelope doe tags for unit 50.  I can't wait for fall.  Antelope hunting has turned into my favorite big game hunt over the years.  Nice and relaxed, always come home with meat, always time for some fishing too.  I just wish I could hunt them more in my own state (Colorado).

BikerRn and I both drew

BikerRn and I both drew second choice in different units. I was surprised as he should have easily drawn based on last years stats. My normal leftover doe tags are not there either this year so they must have cut back a bit or a lot more people applied than in the past.

Unit 30 for Vince so I'll have to do some homework for hunter management areas and the limited amount of public land there. Looks like all state land with very little if any blm that we need to camp on.

I drew 47.

The are either sex tags and we will be looking for doe tags close as well. We will be hunting seperately for the bucks in different weeks.

We drew our doe/fawn

We drew our doe/fawn licenses, but struck out on the Any Antelope licenses for our area.  Looking at the draw report the number of licenses has been significantly cut from last year too.  No leftovers for the doe/fawn licenses this year either!  A few others in our hunting group were planning on purchasing leftovers because they didn't get the apps completed.  Looks like they won't be hunting antelope with us this year.

Actually I drew 46, don't

Actually I drew 46, don't know where I got 47 from. Never hunted there before.

I didn't even apply for does for myself as I've always gotten leftovers later after saving more money. Could be an interesting year.

Excited

I'm just really excited and looking forward to the hunt.

I owe Wade a HUGE Thank You. He took care of all the paperwork and all I had to do was give him my information. We were talking tonight of future hunts, and this one isn't even completed yet. I love future plans, especially when they come to fruition.
