I can tell you that it's good enough that you'll need the maximum of 6PPs in the Regular PP draw to have about a 1 in 4 chance of drawing the tag, but it's about a 4 in 5 chance with max PPs in the higher priced special draw! If you don't have 6 PPs, I'd be looking somewhere else because that unit will be tough to draw for a few years until the number of people with maxmum PPs goes down.
Thanks for your response. I do have max PP so I think I have about a 26% chance, about 1 in 4 as you stated. Hoping someone out there has some knowledge of the area and point me in the right direction if I am lucky enough to draw.
Winter is tough on whitetails, that is an accepted fact.
You can help the quality of your herd by providing winter plots - that are not necessarily designed as kill plots.
Having what I call green plots - that the deer can browse in when most of the other food is gone, can greatly benefit the deer herd when they need it most.
