Wyoming Antelope Hunting in Zone 6

I'm from Iowa and will be going to Wyoming to hunt antelope for the first time. I have hunted antelope in South Dakota with some luck in the past. This will be the first year hunting antelope for my father and I was hoping to get some good tips on where to hunt, good eating spots, and if private land is possible to get on at a fair price. I would like to make this trip as memorable as possible since it is my father and I hunting and because it is very tough for him to get away from work since he is the sheriff of the county we live in. I was hoping (and planning) to hunt zone 7 which has a abundance of public hunting land but was denied. Once that happened I was thrown for a bit of loop but regardless I know we'll still have fun. Any advice/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again,

Don't know if this too late

Don't know if this too late now but this website may help you find more public land to hunt.  It has topo maps and photos.  School land is in blue and can be hunted but no camping.
