Wyoming Antelope

Got drawn for the general elk tag, was going to put in for area H deer, thinkin I'll spend the extra to make sure we get drawn, was wondering if anyone had ideas on an area to put in for for antelope. We are driving out and could try to spend a couple days on the return trip.We have 1pp. Thanks

There's not a lot of good antelope hunting in Region H. Were you looking to stay there or head further east/south? The closest good spot would be 60 but it takes a lot of points. 65 and 66 around Lander could be had with just one point.

Congratulations,
You might try the Game & Fish office that administers the antelope areas around where you will elk hunt. They may have lists of landowners who will allow you to hunt antelope. Also the Hunter Management Areas are possibilities.
Went with a guide last year on my first and it was a blast. The country is beautiful and antelope plentiful.

Thanks for the info, luckily I have been busy lately, with the economy and the snow construction biz isn't the best, trying to find time to look at the maps and the data I got from you Mark. Need to figure it out soon before the deadline. Trying to do it (the hunt)on the way home , so east and south is a good option.
