I too will be in WY bow hunting the goats. Thing we have learned on the blinds is put them where the antelope can see them from a long ways off, If you try to hide them and the come over a hill. It will actually spook them. Where about you gonna be?

Pronghorns are extremely curios by nature but at the same time they have excellent 8 power binocular vision. There are several techniques to hunt them with a bow and from a blind over water is the most popular. decoying also works well during the rut.

Success often depends on how spooky the herd you are hunting is. Also is the water source you are hunting is the only one in the area then your odds of having antelope coming into the water that your blind is at will be very high.

inbowman - I hunted NE WY last year for goats, and I saw that they get used to blinds pretty quickly, provided you pick a good set-up

sitting in a blind is pretty hard for me, so I put the miles on by foot - spot and stalk is a blast, you should give it a try
