WOOD.!!!
Syntheic stock is just another name for synthetic wood and have no desire to go synthetic. Synthetic stock is synonomus with "sympathetic stock" in my opinion.
It's like putting retread tires on a Ferrari.. lol lol lol

im a synthetic man myself. Wood stocks look better but synthetic's are more durable and i dont like having a gun that looks beat to hell.

WellI can remove scratches, dints and refinish a wood stock to the color texture of your choice. I can cut a wood stock to install custom recoil pad to a lenght chosen by the shooter.
I rest my case!!!

Or you could just have your stock put on that way and not have to trouble yourself.

As far as my opinion wood looks great and works ok, but a good synthetic stock looks good and preforms great under harsh weather and hunting situations.

Personally I don't care as long as the gun shoots well.

It's hard to beat the feel of a fine piece of Birdseye Maple with Ebony caps.

Wood Stock or Synthetic Stock

I prefer synthetic on my hunting rifles that I use each day but like the look of wood on my collecting firearms. I find it hard to imagine any firearm (non-military) without a wood stock ever being sought after in the future as a collectors item or display. Wood looks and feels better but syn. takes a beating and keeps on trucking. It really depends on your use/need for the firearm.
