wolves..

What boogles our mind is that Yellow stone bought wolves from us at $30,000 apeice to reintroduce....now what are they going to do....we are tracking wolves right now that are traveling hundreds of miles....wolves are big news here in BC..Some states are ready to ariel gun them....Alberta poisened some last year...the problem in BC is the Olympics..coming in 2010...nothing will happen before...except we do have permission to take out 2-4 packs where they did DNA studies of their scat to prove they were eating Mountain Caribou...

no true..

wolves , don't just eat the weak and sickly and small, they tackle the biggest they can...they just surrond them and wear them done, till they bleed out..it takes days sometime..the wolves just lay down and go to sleep to rest while the moose stands there..on guard...tiring out....they love cow & calf....they get the calf quite soon..and then work on the cow...I know it is nature and I don't blame the Wolves for doing what comes natural, but it comes natural for me shoot , trap and kill every one I can..!!! unforunatly it is not enough..

Wolf & Preditor Control ?

I think just a good, long open season on wolves would go a long ways in Idaho. The predators need a predator. Wolves kill for sport - why can't we?

yes ....right..

That is right...even with a long open season in BC it is not helping , they are nocternal and very wary...even baiting only helps a little....

Wolf & Preditor Control ?

... many years ago I remember seeing some wild wolves in a fenced area on one of the local univ campuses. This was before I developed the opinions and emotions on the subject that I hold today. But, I remember the encounter clearly. They looked at me through the chain link fence, actually smiling. I couldn't help think that they were thinking - "you fool - you think we're so cute - the joke is on you. Come on in here (this fenced area) - we will kill you and commit other atrocities - just for the sport of it. It will be fun. We will enjoy it." I have never sensed that from any other wild animal.
