Great set of pictures and a good looking bear. Although I grew up in Wisconsin and did see a lot of bears when I was a kid I have not looked at going there to hunt them.

How does the season work now, how hard is it to get a tag as a non resident and what does the success usually run?

That's a good looking bear in my opinion.  I don't know much about judging bears but if it was my call, I think I'd pull the trigger on that one.  I think it would outweigh me and that is my goal for finding a black bear to take home.

What's your guess 250 pounds and six feet nose to tail?

you've got some good bears in the area. there are a few older ones and some younger ones it looks like, so your area has good age structure which is nice if you can hunt them every year!

there's two pictures in there that if i saw that bear in the woods, i wouldn't hesitate on taking it even if it was the first one i'd seen! i have hunted black bears several times and havn't come up with anything yet, hopefully next year.

last night me and my dad saw a black bear in a field near our house.  This morning my mom was taking me to school and the same bear was in a different field but closer to our house and ran into some woods across from our house.  Earlier before we left our dogs were outside barking at something well now we know what they were barking at lol.
