This will get the blood flowing

Took the dog for a hike last night down to the lower part of our property. While hiking came across this set both within 3 feet of each other. Never found a set before and for sure never found any this big. Sure made me think of my up coming muzzle loader hunt in just over a month. Even shorter time for you archery guys.

2 sets in 2 nights

So I talk with my neighbor Tim about the antlers from last night. Of course he wants to see them so I show him. After he looked them over he said he thought he saw something like this last year on his property. So we go hiking and sure enough I find this set of last years antlers about 5 feet apart. Until yesterday I had never found a matching set and now found two sets in two days. Think we are going again tomorrow night if the weather hold. Guess we will see what happens.

Lucky

Go buy a powerball now!!!!! I really think it is the same elk. has the same characteristics and flow. It just grew another point down low this past year. Be really neat to see him this year as I bet he has some mass to him now!!!! Hope you get to chase him!!!! Keep us posted.

"AWESOME"

Congrats on some super finds ! It definitely looks like the same bull, but it looks like the second set is a lot older then a year.

Here is a 340" set we picked while checking and setting up more trail cameras over the 4th of July weekend.

You know that lottery ticket

You know that lottery ticket that you were planning on buying for the chance at 400+ million, well forget about it. You have used up all of you luck for the next couple of years.

I know this because a few years ago I found a beautiful set of antlers off of a real nice 4x4 mule deer buck. It looked like he stuck his head in a pine tree and shook it to get them to fall off. They were sitting within inches of each other. Since that day I have zero luck on the lottery and drawing tags.
