Thanks for the info Don. I don't have that kind of money, but I enjoy taking pictures. I think I am pretty good with things like composition, depth of field and such. I just don't know a lot of the technical stuff, exposure, fstop, etc.

Actually, I meant, are you sure you're not the non-hunting, recreational picture taking, greeny type that are being slammed in the other threads. But, it's not as funny if I have to explain it :-?

I,m sorry, I didn't get it. Pick up a copy of Shutterbug Magazine. There's lot'a of used equipment in there. Adorama has a good selection of used equip. Bought a lot os stuff from them and will recommend them. ie: Nikon FG in very good condition $110 no lense. Sigma 28-300 zoom, a demonstrater for Nikon @ $189. All you need then is film, I recommend Fuji. Also a Sigma 28-200 @ $124. Lot's of other stuff there and you can get going for less.

How about a photo of my old Pete standing on a quail over by Hermiston, Ore. My son swipped him away from me. Ya better do this!

i payed around $650 for my fuji and about another $100 for memory cards and rechargable batterys.I went fishing on prickley pear last year and this little goat followed me all day..lol btw nice buck Don!need a few of them hangin around here.

So, how old is "Nick"? When I was in Montana I had Springers and Labs.

Here's one of me and my all time favorite dog "Hannah". She's 13 yrs old here, her last hunt. Had her put to sleep at 16 yrs. Also one of a couple antelope outside of town. Makes a great print but loses something in the computer. Done with film. Add one more, a Desert Big Horn, I'll let ya think about that one awhile.
