Wild Justice?

Anybody else been watching this new series on TV.  The channel ecapes me.  Takes plave with the CA game and Fish.  They really take their poaching seriuosly as I am sure all states do.  But these guy go to some extremes to catch some people.  the episode last night they uased a plane to catch "spotlighters.  Very cool show.  the only thing that gets me is sometimes they call the "poachers" "hunters", just wish they refererrwed to them as poachers and not hunters as most of these guys could care less about wildlife.

It was an interesting show

It was an interesting show last night.  I liked where they were called into a neighborhood and found the arrows, then a broken one and turned the dog loose to find the dead deer.  Then tracking the offender down.

As far as calling poachers hunters I didn't notice it last night but then I was switching between a couple of channels while it was on.

Interesting show.  Find the

Interesting show.  Find the poachers to be chronic losers making bad choices over and over.  They have no regard for the law and just basically suck at life which i am sure they don't think is their fault.

Some BS on the part of the game wardens.  For example one said a broadhead does as much damage to a deer as a .300 caliber rifle.  Sorry, that is BS.  Is a broadhead deadly and does it kill?  Of course it does, but it cannot be compared to a .300 caliber rifle.

Do an autopsy on a deer killed by an arrow and broadhead and you'll find a nice wound channel with a hole in the heart and or lungs if it was a good shot, but open up a deer shot by a hi-power rifle and you'll find the insides just destroyed.  Broken ribs, pulverized internal organs and just massive hemorhaging.

Guess they have to say things like that to make the show interesting.

Also, the comments of the poachers are interesting as the guys that shot the does didn't think they were doing anything wrong since there are so many does.

Yeah CVC, that guy was a pure

Yeah CVC, that guy was a pure idiot through and through.  He said he didn't know what the big deal was, they were only does, and they had passed on a couple of bucks.

As for the "hunters"/"poachers" debate, they actually took a moment in that episode to specifically define "poachers" as someone who illegally takes game contrary to the rules set forth by fish and game.  I thought it was a great clarification.  They also ran into that group of hunters who were not breaking any rules, said good luck, and they hoped they killed something.  I thought they were pretty good.
