hey im new and live in the central NY area..... this is my first season hunting i have been shooting guns forever tho! wanting to go out after some dangerous game and farel pigs seem to be the fix ive been looking for. my parents live in the town of spafford in skaneateles (roughly 5 miles from village) i live in the city of syracuse anyone hear of any around spafford or any ideas in how to get into them(tricks/tips and ways to at least getting me in the area they are in? esp. looking for some state land in town of scott becausethats where it seems the actions at! thanks,

[I live outside of Spafford. I have shot 2 pigs in the last 3 years. They are not that easy to find. You have to be lucky and catch them at the right time. In the last 20 years I have only seen them 7 times. They are growing in numbers but once their spooked it takes them awhile to come back. Sometimes months, before you see them.

Hows is every one today, I was reading the post about your pig hunting my cousin and i have become interested in hunting them. We also live in the finger lakes area and have considered a trip to hewit state forrest. i was wondering if you have had any luck or had any tips on locating animals.
