No pork in my freezer this year!!

No, in the few times that I went looking for hogs we saw some sign but no score. A few hogs were seen since then by some buddies of mine.

We saw some corn damage and under apples trees pretty muddy with no more apples. What else should we be looking for ? I haven't seen all to much for mud on trees but only once or twice. They seem to be nomadic and nocturnal from what I can tell. any tips out there?

They are south and mostly west of syracuse. I have heard that they have gotten on the east side of 81, but can't confirm.

I am getting ready to go hog wild and was wondering if anyone on here had any updated insight into the current hog population surrounding the Finger Lakes. Can't wait to go after them after deer season ends......hopefully plan on tracking them once there is snow on the ground unless anyone on here has any other thoughts on the best way to get at em.

Wild Boars in Deleware County

I just whacked 6 young hogs in Deleware County, NY this past weekend. I don't know much about hogs but they were pretty small. 30-40 pounds each, about the size of a large raccoon. Pretty ballsy little critters; one of them charged me. I dispatched them easily with a 22lr. Just aim for the shoulder or the head and they go right down.
