Drew one for Colorado and two for WY. Wife also drew two for WY. Will be her first trip. They are all doe rags as I am still putting in for PP's in CO.
Goosehunter, what part of Colorado? I just drove threw several SE counties (huerfano, El Paso, Las Animas) and the pastures are filled with grass about 2 feet tall. The antelope were big and fat. You should have a good hunt in CO.
When calling coyotes, more often than not they will circle on a target they are
coming into and approach from the downwind side. Presumably they do this in
order to align what they smell, with what they are hearing.
This means that you should always have your downwind side camouflaged and have
an open shooting lane. If the area is heavily covered the coyote could come in
take a look and be gone, with you none the wiser.
