brandonhill,

Really nicely displayed antlers there. Great idea to hang some of the lesser racks on the wall like that. Nicely done. Thumbs up

I'm still waiting on my mount from last year, I'll be posting pics as soon as I get him back.

Ole Herman

This is ONE....of 430 bucks I've taken in 56 years of hunting whitetails/mulies in 5 different states:

This one has 23 " inside spread but I've seen another that would have made this one look like a pimp! Never got a shot at him and hunted him 4 years straight within 1 1/2 miles of my home. The only time I got to see him was one afternoon when I was 60' up a big oak and I saw a huge set of horns lift up out of a coffeebean patch. I saw a huge 'white something' lift up out of the patch from about 750 yards and when I put the binocs on it....about 30 seconds later I observed him 'topping a doe'! Couldn't see anything but the rack. When the doe and buck moved into a small area I could see both....it was two dark to make a shot because I couldn't tell one from the other! Five minutes earlier......and I would have driven his 'whacker into the dirt!! Such is deer hunting!

Find sign and hunt the area until you're worn out.....and you'll kill good bucks! But.....BIG BUCKS are killed in thickets! Find the thickest place you can find....and that's where the old/big bucks will be!!

Believe it!
