WHich would you rather?

Ok so my plan is that in 3, hopefully 2 but definitly 3 years I'll be free of my debt from school at which point I'd like to reward myself with a different hunting trip so my deficulty is in deciding what to do; Pronghorn or muledeer outwest, Moose in NFLD, Caribou in Northern Quebec or do I go for the gusto and realize my dream of hunting New Zealand?

You can do moose in NFLD quite easily anytime, so choose one of the others and you will make it to NFLD after that.

Think I have been Moose hunting and are now booking a South Africa Plains game hunt, with plans to do more Moose in the future. Plains game is cheaper if you are looking at number of animals to hunt, but you also have to figure in the Airline prices, etc. but overall I would go for the Africa adventure now and Moose later. Just an opinion.

Just a suggestion, but if you "go for the gusto" and try for New Zealand, why not try Argentina. You have all the great Red Stag hunting, but can also time it to hunt Doves and waterfowl, if you're into that. There is no better place in the world for that. And as for price, I can't imagine it'd be very different between the 2.....

Whatever you chose, should be a great trip!!!!

A friend from Germany last year drove to Quebec with a small motorhome, got a licence, shot two Caribou with a 30-06 of mine the second day of the hunt.
He said that the caribou were like waves coming through.
So, my recommendation would be Caribou in Quebec and you have plenty of time to go for bear in Ontario.
BTW. he went WITHOUT an outfitter!! Just got a non resident licence!!

I have herad that you cant hunt Quebec without a guide or indian rights. Also from what I have read on the Queben MNR site it also says you need a guide. So how did your friend pull that off.

He bought the licence from an outfitter up there.
