The treestand that I use is a little more than a $100 for the basic model but I love it. It is the Treelouge Tree Stand. You can get climbers or a ladder stand. I use th climber and it is great. Take a look at it. http://www.treelounge.com It is a great stand for the money.

Either of the two you show in your post would be fine. I use a couple very similiar to those in my outfitting business and like them

I tried a Tree lounge stand a couple years back now, the basic one. I found it hard to manuver around once up in tree and not the best climbing stand either. I know they have improved on them, just haven't had the opportunity to try any of the newer models.

I agree with what the other guy said. The tree lounge a few years back was hard to move around in. They have made ajustments on it and it works better now. They also have another type of tree stand on the web page that they sell now. I have read up on it and heard from others that it is also a great stand.

King-Kong tree stands are very good for what they cost 130 bucks canadian for a pretty nice one seater.

Yea the treelounge is the best climber there is: you can shoot directly behind you and to your back right which is basically impossible with other stands, it makes no noise while shifting weight, it is easy to carry on your back, and it is soo good at climbing that it can climb a metal pole.
