Can anyone on here tell me which states offer moose hunting? This is something I would definitely like to try some day.

Might be more than listed.
In the northeast it's ME, NH & VT. NY doesn't have a season yet but they will someday. WA, CO, UT, ID, WY, ND, MN and MT have seasons out west. The odds of drawing a tag range from poor to p**s poor. :D All it takes is time or luck or both. Of course Alaska has a season, too. Oh, I forgot, if your made of money you could buy a tag in the states that auction a couple.

What part of VT are you from? My wife's from Newport and I used to live in St. Albans for a few years. Hunted around Enosburg and Jay mostly. I've only seen a couple of moose in VT but they're around.

Funny, that would put us as
Funny, that would put us as neighbors, about 7 miles apart for a time..... I grew up in Swanton, and my parents still live there. We actually have permission to hunt some land in Enosburg too..... But, we mainly stay at our spot in Alburgh.
We fish on Jay Peak.......

I used to work at the mill in Sheldon Springs and lived on the old USAF radar site on top of the hill at exit 19. I hunted up on Enosburg Mt. near the Gibou. Never saw much up there but there was some sign.

You lived by the golf ball
You lived by the golf ball that the giant was going to hit into Lake Champlain???????
At least that's what my parents used to tell us when we were kids.....
We actually used to go up there and watch the fireworks over the bay.....

Yeah, it was a beautiful view from up there. There was pretty good grouse and deer hunting up there. There was an old orchard just below the house. We had a moose wander through the neighborhhod one day. There were also a lot of berry patches on the overgrown parts of the base. Bear crap and vomit all over. Several hundred airmen were replaced with about 8 FAA employees. You ever go see the missile silos around Swanton/Grand Isle? I always wanted to buy one. They're too expensive now but you used to be able to buy a missile site cheap.

I don't know about the other
I don't know about the other states out here with moose but getting a tag in CO is like winning the lotto and finding gold in the bowl of your toilet in the same day. Still waiting on hitting the lotto haha
