Where's thenail?

I'm sure you are busy out trapping, but was wanting to hear some stories. Big smile
Had a lot of first happen with me this trapping season. Taken my first beavers, muskrats, coyotes (trapping) , and bobcat during this season so far. Unfortunately I think I spent more time chasing critters than paying attention to my deer hunting, but that's OK i've been having a blast.
Let us know what's happening Thumbs up

fur pics

Redrider , loking forward to see some of your pics . Did you tell me a while ago that your just getting back into the trappin ?? .Anyway glad to see your into it . I'm curious to see what effect the stock market will have on the price of furs .

I picked up another cat yesterday along the river . She was a sad looking subject full of old muddy water after the flood along the river . I got it cleaned up pretty good though .Didn't get a pic of it in that state . I have pics of all the fir later ,before it goes to the NAFA depot for shipment

fur market

I was glad to see someone with enough optimism to try and trap this year. I haven't been able to trap much due to health problems[broken foot]. My buyer told me last fall the market on coons was predicted to be so low that I might not want to even trap them. I willstill try and outwit a few before the spring thaw, however. Raccoons are not worth as much here in southern Ohio as the northern states, but dang it,I still love trapping and the outdoors ,in general. If any of you fellow trappers want, you can visit my website at;trappersjohn.com.Some of my articles will bring back memories I'm sure. You see ,I been hunting/trapping for almost 60 years. Good luck and thanks...by the way sign my guestbook and post on my forum,if you like.
