Here I am Big smile I've been around, just that time of year I get into slow motion. Took a spill on the ice couple weeks ago and havn't been too active.
I've been watching my turkey videos and practicing calling. I know the fever will hit hard as soon as this weather changes here.(Cold, Icy, Drury)
I'm excited for the new archery only season starting April 1. Have never tried a Tom with the bow so it should be fun!
I'll try and do better keeping up and active Yes lol

10-4 RR I was getting worried there. I have been super busy myself but Im still lurking around. LOL

Hessau yes sir we have some good public land here. Some obviously better than others but a decent turkey hunter with a 4-7 day plan could most definately come here and get into some super action with little competition. For the record all public land is closed until April 1. Much of the really good stuff is Wed and Sat only.

Up until I really started travelling quite a bit and taking my guide duties on the road, I spent alot of time hunting the public lands for my own toms to preserve my private stuff for clients. I have some spots on public land here I would stack right next to the best private land spots I have. Theres always that chance of being interferred with but suprisingly enough very rarely has that been a problem. Just got to know where to go and be willing to step out a bit. If your seriously interested shoot me a pm I can help you narrow the search quite a bit. Big smile

I will be travelling through Kansas due north to north central NE.likely on the 16th . I am going to have a one day travel agenda so best I could do in terms of stopping would be for lunch along the route. Shoot me a pm with your location and I will check the map to see what it looks like.
