was headed up to "Fish Lake" area off HWY 126, but I dont think the snow will be gone in time. Have been looking around behind the "mountain house" area...will prolly hunt around there if cant get higher.
the snow this week isnt helping at all, I'm gonna do more scouting this weekend, where i wanna go i a road that has been shut down for 10 years and runs next to a creek for about 9 miles, with some nice claerings, i have seen bears taken from there in years past.
If you want to properly preserve velvet antlers, you will have to inject & brush them with formaldehyde or some of the new less toxic chemicals (4 in 1 solution works great as does Knobloch's antler in velvet tan) as its easier to use however, both will work.
