Where would you go?

If you had unlimited resources to hunt anywhere in the world where would you go? My first choice be Alaska, then it would be Africa. I'v always wanted to hunt both places. In Alaska I would wanna hunt Grizzlys and moose, in Africa I would want lion and elephant. How bout you?

I hunted Alaska in 72 for a brown bear and would love to go back.  I'm getting an itch for a mountain grizzly since my ex wife has or had the rug from the brownie.  Africa on the other hand is a cheap hunt.  A friend of mine went over a couple of years ago with his grandson and did 4 or 5 planes animals for $3500.00 US for each of them.  His airfair cost him more than the hunts.  As far as animals there is nothing really exciting about a lion except for they are huge and about the same with an elephant.  The elephants just stand there and let you shoot them.  I on the other hand would love to get a leapord and a water buffalo.

Crazy for muleys!

To me there is nothing better than chasing those big old mule deer. Mine would be to go to Old Mexico and chase a giant Desert Muley. Laugh

With those big brusiers that you have up on Glade Park that head over into Utah on that wilderness study area?  I thought that by now you would of gotten in good with one of those ranchers and got access through their property to hunt them.  Laugh

Critter,

Some of the biggest muleys I have ever seen have been in the 28 Hole area on the northwestern side of the Park. Some day I am going to get off of my lazy butt and do a packback trip into there for a 3rd rifle season hunt. Especially since it has been closed since 1989. I have also been thinking of coming in from Utah with a raft and crossing the river. Laugh

That would be fun, I love hunting deer and elk, but I've kinda been itching to hunt predators

I would head to the Dark

I would head to the Dark Continent.  I really want hunt Alaska, but takes alot more work to head across the ocean and would like to do that before you can't fly with a gun or some other reason they might keep us from going to Africa.
