OK........
Have property in S.C. the past 4 years we've taken numerous hogs and deer. This Property is approx. 225 acres free range with nothing but woods(no houses or farming). Each year after deer season ends we start back with the feeders and the hogs come in. I have tried about every combo of bait that I have read about from Jello to Sour corn . Plain Corn seems to have worked the best. I have Video (Penn Woods) of more than 25 hogs on one feeder in Aug. 2005. But now in the same location same set up NO HOGS......Can Someone PLEASE tell me whats going on?????!!!!! One guy is claiming "Corn Shy" due to hunting pressure and trapping on other properties around us. I say " a free meal is a free meal"..???

As Bnow is saying, they may have found greener pasters. You're serving steak while the neighbors are serving lobster.

OK let me try a different approach.
Guys, there is still plenty of fresh hog sign within 50 yards of 3 different feeders. The one at a place we call 5 Oaks is eat up with fresh sign. My main objective is to get them hitting the feeders. I need ideas on how to get them to the feeders. I read somewhere that raccoon urine is the trick. Apparently one of the ways wild hogs find food is by following coons.. Just havent found any coon urine.... Any Ideas????? As soon as I can get back to the property I will take some Pics of the sign and let you see what we have..... Even with all of this We are still having a ball just being in the woods...!!
