New to your forum, and have been watching it for sometime! I am wondering if anyone could recommend which of the left over tags for elk in either CO. or WY. offer the best chance at gettting a bull! I'm not a trophy hunter just like to shoot something with horns and eat it! Also, it would offer some access to using my Rhino too as I would be taking my Father who is an aging Vietnam vet. I work all over the world so just buying a tag is all I can do, don't have the luxury of putting in for a draw! I just have to take time off and go! Thanks, Otis!

I'd lean towards an OTC area in Colorado with lots of BLM where you can actually use an ATV. Some of the west slope areas like 21,22, 30, 31 and 32 might be a good option for you. At this point, most of the best leftovers are gone, so you'll have to stick with the unlimited tags.
