Where to find an available trophy whitetail hunt or whitetail/elk combo hunt for this fall?

Is there any chance of getting tags or anywhere i can go on a whitetail hunt or elk/whitetail combo hunt this fall?

Not likely

maybe on a private ranch ? with a land owner tag, for whitetail, but it will be very high dollar.

Elk and whitetail usually aren't found in the same areas, as a general rule in most areas.

I agree would be hard to find

I agree would be hard to find elk and WT in the same unit here. You could get a tag in two units, and hunt half the time in each. Personally, i'd just go for elk. WT are a dime a dozen.

Mule deer/elk is more doable

Mule deer/elk is more doable in most western states. Why whitetail as you have them and some good ones in Michigan?

LOL Stillhunter, I waited my whole life to get my first whitetail buck because of where I live. For me mulies were a dime a dozen and I couldn't sleep I wanted a whitetail so bad. I have 2 now and can't wait to go after more. I won't give up mule deer of course but now I want both every year.

MT

Last that i heard Montana had almost 3000 left over tags, and after they jacked there price up so high, i hope they eat every one of them. about $950.00 for a combo tag.
