I live in Sault Ste. Marie And hunt in w.m.u 36 & 37 Moose & Deer and just new to this forum

Hi i am from ontario.I think deer was in the plural. (435 lbs) Total meat from the butcher.

Hi there! Name's Bob, from Thunder Bay in NW Ontario. Great moose country up here, lots of deer not too far away if you like to hunt them. Hunt moose with a group of 9 friends and family. We've done really well for tags, thanks to the Group Application process. It's a little confusing, but once you learn how to use the system, the tags are available. The system definitely does not favour the single or pair of hunters.

I just joined and I'm from Hawkesbury, Ont.
I hunt in WMU 65 and hunt near Cornwall.
We do a lot of deer hunting and we have the second archery tag this year for buck or doe.
Did any of you guys here about the MNR introducing a muzzle loader season next year?.
Heard from a local shop but was not sure what WMU's and when.

I'm from Espanola and hunt deer and moose if I get a tag. small game also puts food on the barby.

Hi Lonewolf. Welcome. I'm in your neck of the woods too, so to speak -
WMU 64B. Things are pretty quiet around here now, but they'll pick up towards the late summer.

Thanks for the welcome, saskie...You are absolutely right!... I hunt a couple of farms in WMU 64b as well. However, when I'm deer hunting in Ontario I do most of my hunting on our property in WMU 65 in Williamsburg.

Hi, i'm from cobourg and just found this site through OCOA. I deer hunt in 72-A, 73, and 54. moose hunt in 54 and 4 wmu. Turkey hunt in wmu. 73. Hunt and Fish, what a life, got to love it. Rick.
