Ha...Ha! Well sounds like Dad is teaching them a less beyond just hunting. ![]()
how's it going ahunter. where abouts in 55b do you live or hunt. I have relatives in pemboke and Golden lake, Mink Lake. My mother-in-law has a place on Mink Lake as well as Nepean and of course in London Ontario(my neck of the woods) My aunt has a 600 acre spread just outside Golden Lake that is just crawling with Whitetails.
I hunt in the Barry's Bay, Round Lake areas.
ahunter.
Just stumbled upon this forum ! Live in NW Ontario (DRYDEN) on the "ranch" where in 2002 we were able to harvest wt deer (435lb) and a moose to round off this year's big game season. I returned upon semi-retirement to this area in 1999 and have seena steady increase in big game populations -- long time residents have told me that they have never seen the populations, particularly for moose as high as they are at present. I attribute much of this to the relatively mild winters we have experienced during the last few years -- looks like this year we're in for another one -- would like to see some more snow and cold for a while.
Welcome to the forum, Isukava. A 435 lb whitetail deer? What are you feeding those things up there?

Apples spiked with a healthy dose of anabolics. Now that is one deer merc I wouldn't want to mess with. Bambo. ![]()
Isukava probably just slipped with the keyboard. I've done far worse, hell sometimes whole trains of thought slip my mind...

Hi joined Feb 22
I live in North Bay but do my deer hunting in the Pembroke area and also Manitoulin Island. I would be interested in bow hunting in zone 64b if I could find a place to go. A surplus tag to bow hunt would be great
