What's up with Republican Governors?

Well pango you are correct I am not your buddy and I am not your friend, I also don't hide behind some phony ass screen name so I can badmouth others like you do. As far as reading your posts for the most part they are like the Sunday morning comics, we all get a laugh out of your lack of intelligence. I did make the mistake of thinking even someone the likes of you would have more respect for a woman and her family. You are not much of a man and warrant no more responses from me.

Pangolin has made over 400 posts since joining on April's Fools Day.

I find pangolin's posts here on this topic just an effort to insult and wear down his opposition party the Republicans.

I have put pangolin on ignore. There are better things to do rather than read him or her.

Once again, well said Bud. The guy's a troll. Sometimes he'll actually sound reasonable, but once you engage him he transforms into a whirling, spitting, sarcastic tazmanian devil of ad hominem atttacks and political bumper stickers devoid of any intellectual substance. He'll never concede a point, no matter how small, and over time you'll find it's a lot like trying to debate a tree stump.

As for pogo's stance on Palin, Ann Coulter said it best . From her latest article:

"She's like the ex-girlfriend they're SO over, never want to see again, have already forgotten about -- really, it's O-ver -- but they just can't stop talking about her.

Liberal: Ha, ha ... Sarah who? She's over, she's toast, a future Trivial Pursuit answer, nothing more.

Normal person: Whatever. How about the North Korean missiles?

Liberal: Can you believe she just resigned the governorship like that? What a quitter!

Normal person: Speaking of quitting, how's work?

Liberal: Did you hear she might get a TV show? There's no way Sarah Palin's getting a TV show! No way! I can't believe stupid Sarah Palin could get her own stupid TV show now. Well, I'm sure not gonna watch it -- that's for sure!

Normal person: Have you seen all the Michael Jackson coverage on TV?

Liberal: How does she think she can run for president in 2012 if she can't finish her term as governor of a Podunk state? She's finished.

Normal person: OK, then! You won't have to vote for her.

Liberal: I was never going to vote for her! But now I'm not going to vote for her twice. And I will never watch her TV show. I am so over her."

Expatriate you're just sore because someone dishes it back at you. And I have the advantage of being from the reality based community, so it's easy for me to use facts and logic. To tell the truth most of you are extremely uninformed. Many seem unfamiliar with most issues or even the way our government works. It's ignorance such as this that has led to some disasterous results at the voting booth.

Instead of the personal attacks why don't the three of you either 1. Respond to the current three scandals dominating the Republican Party, or 2. Stay off the thread and make your own threads about whatever you'd like politicaly related.

That Dem congressman that got caught with $ in the freezer is on trial, there are funnies there, also Obama's replacement in Illinois the guy that paid for his senate seat dropped out of 2010 race. Burris. Do you guys even follow current events that aren't on Fox?

Peggy Noonan, Reagans #1 speach writer had an anti Palin op ed in todays WSJ.

"her rhetorical jabberwocky" Peggy can still write an essay.

Patriate, I know pogo is not a man and sure is not as classy as a woman so how about we refer to pogo as a IT? So... it would be best for the forum if we all just ignored it's posts. could even be possible to ban the ip address that it sends from. because it hides from all of us by using a phony screen name it could even be a child without adult supervision. that would be even more of a reason to ban the ip address. Anyway this forum should be used to talk about our hunting, fishing and next planed adventure and not arguing with the likes of it. lets all use the easy button and ignore it.

Why would I be sore? You're shooting blanks.

You're like the little yappy dog inside the station wagon that chases the gas station attendant around the car as he washes the windows -- convinced of your own badness, but just an amusement for the rest of the world to chuckle about.

Given the experiences I've had in this life, it takes a lot more than snarky comments from someone of your caliber to affect my day.

I like ewe Bud, I'm not sure why, maybe it's the cute mustache, ewe are my hero. But. This is the political section of a hunting site with many different divisions, I'm sure there's a section on Armadillo cooking somewhere if you just go look, but this part's about Politics. Don't like it? Go elsewhere.

To tell the truth online personal insults appear fairly cowardly, I mean we can't meet by the seventh grade door to have it out because you call me an "it" can we? If you have something substantive to say, say it. If it's untrue or based in illogic I might comment. Continue to knowingly make untrue comments and you might come in for a mild intellectual chastisement. Ask Expariate, it stings a little but he comes back for more.

Back up your ideas with links to sources, not links to more opinion, but first of all have an idea. "I don't like Pangolin" doesn't rise to the level of being a contribution.

Quote:
The reason the Republicans lost so many Senate seats last November is now becoming clear. No one had any time to think about the campaign. They were too busy worrying about Senator John Ensign’s sex life.

I like that Prayer House all the Conservatives went to and the discussions on how much to pay the man the good senator from Nevada made a cuckold. Tom Coburn from Oklahoma figured the guys wife was worth a million! Sometimes I just don't understand.

Yap! Yap! Yap! Laugh Laugh

A belated welcome to you, Bud. Sorry about the dog.

Isn't it interesting that Ensign's mistress and Al Franken both got the same $96K payout?

Yes it is.

I understand Franken's payoff was a percentage of costs incurred set by a judge.

Ensign's dad's 96K is more perplexing, amount in checking at the time? I guess it might have been illegal in some sense, is there a threshold? I always remember bribes of less than 600 ren min bi, because at 600 the bribe taker could do hard time. Funny number. That scandal is ending up being the one with the most possible legal lapses.

Everyone was sure Palin was getting in front of a scandal, and now it's not looking that way. Logic and planning are useless when trying to predict her actions. She is shaping up to be a terrific celebrity though. That looks like the underlying reason. The daughters boyfreind turns out to be a lot more predictive than the pundits. He did live in the house for months, heard a lot. Quit to follow the money and celebrity. Good for her.

Sarah Palin is the best, bar none, political celebrity to come down the pike in recent years. I like her personal background and story. All that reality television stuff to the max. She also is a good sport usually, as long as she isn't on her "taking out the long knives" mode.

70% of Republicans would like her to run for Prez! Lots more fun than Huckabee or Romney. You know Romney is the choice of the money guys, takes one to know one. Sure do wish she'd leave her kids out of it though. Every time she drags them into the spotlight I shudder.

My wish is for some more speaking in tongues or some big personal thing that boosts her on the tabloid ratings but doesn't put her out of the game. A great representative for the Republican Party.

Here's the Sunday pundits.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/article66888...

And a Twitter exchange between her and John McCain.

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/12/opinion/12dowd.html

PALIN: @SenJohnMcCain — How the heck are ya, ya big hero?? Long time no hear, pardner. Y did u defriend me on Facebook?

MCCAIN: @AKGovSarahPalin — I needed room for Kissinger

Bud where are ewe? Cry sad
