Since I am very picky about power/speed/accuracy of a load I would probably remove the gun from the safe and sell it unless I have killed something with it. I dont like my velocities under 2700fps with the exception of big bores like .35 rem and up. If the load doesnt have atleast 1500 lbs of energy out to 300yds. I will not use it. But every now and then I will stir up some slow but powerful loads for up close and personal huntin.
There are times when the deer are simply not moving and you're forced to make something happen. Maybe you're up against a full moon or hot weather. This is when a silent drive to force deer to move should be considered.
