Guys, I am new to this forum but have been reading it for quite some time. I thought I'd post up this pic to see who would like to score this bull. I know the pic isn't the greatest, and I can tell you that he's a 7x7 and around 50" wide. I'm just curious of what kind of rough green score everybody comes up with.
My official guess as to how he'll score: HIGH
My question is how much meat will have to be packed out and how far? Did you take the picture? Also, is that another smaller bull behind him in the brush?
Awesome bull...shot first, worry about the score after hes down. just quickiy looking as cant get a good judge of the 2 front points in size and if there all in tact and assuming 50 wide...380 or so. am i way off or remotely close?? nice even bull.
Yes, that is a smaller bull beside him in the pic. He's actually a 320" class 6x6.I don't expect to have to pack him much over a couple hundred yards. I just booked a hunter today that's going to get the first crack at him this season. I figure him to be in the 380" range also.
If your hunter is successful, would like to see the photo and score of the bull. See if we are close to our field judge scores. Good luck on the hunt. Perfect bull with the size and if the pack out is only acouple hundred yards.
IMO, that bull has loads of mass, but he's lacking length to get him into the 380 class. His overall short tine lengths will probably pull him into the 350-360 class. One thing is for sure, he's an awesome specimen - and only a fool would take a pass on harvesting him.

this sounds very much like a captive situation. Please tell me I'm wrong. Fair chase is the only way!
Well my guess on that bull is 350ish. Short tines and short main beams, but still a great looking bull.

Iam sure he will score a perfect 10 on the dinner table, that the only score I look at.

I agree with AZ, perhaps 340, but I would be really suprised at 380. Either way its a good bull.
Nice Bull, 350 class is my guess. Lots of mass but short swords. Hope he doesn't break off anthing before your hunter gets a crack at him. I'd like to know what he really scores if you land him. Keep us posted.
