What weather?

What weather have you had the most luck in during your hunt? Snowing, raining, cold and miserable, clear and sunny? Im interested in seeing what type of weather people harvest their animal in... Thanks for reading..

You name the weather and I

You name the weather and I have done it.  Anything from rain to snow, hot or cold I have found an animal in.  But if you wanted for me to pick the best time to go after either elk or deer it would be right after a good snow storm that lasted a couple of days.  When that sunshine shows up those animals pop out all over the place.

i agree

I like right after a snow also as long as the snow isn't so frozen you can't sneak around.

I have harvested most of my

I have harvested most of my animals on cold day's just before a good storm comes in. My favorite though is the same as others. Right after a fresh snow storm.

there is absolutely no doubt

there is absolutely no doubt that right after a storm whether it be a snow storm or a thunderstorm is the best weather to hunt elk. the elk just can't wait any longer and have to go get something to eat.

yes

I'm right there with Critter.   have done it all in all kinds of weather but, the frist day of sun after a good snow storm seems to bring the mountains to life.

I see most of my game when

I see most of my game when it's nasty out. usually after a big snow storm or long periods of rain. From what I've seen game like to move as soon as the weather breaks and I like to be in the woods when that happens.
