its the damn people in Seattle that dont hunt

I strongly agree with this as being the biggest cause of problem. Too many King co assholes voteing on something they know nothing about. They vote on no hound hunts--limited spring bear hunts WTF is these peoples problem. have they ever even been on a hunting trip. But I do have to agree that if there was more hunters voteing insted of not voting with the band we wouldn't have this as so much of a problem.

They should keep those kind of issues out of the public votes and form a commision of appointed people who have an intrest in hunting and the future of the wildlife, people who hunt and know what they are voting on make more common sense decisions than those who have dedicated thier lives to taking away the rights we enjoy.A commision and a public comment period works well here in Mt,I dont always agree with thier decisions but i have the right to voice my opinion to them and hear everyone elses before they vote.

I think that wildlife issues should be voted on by those that "buy into" the system. If you want to vote then buy fishing or hunting license.

I wish I could help you out with the vote but I'm an Idaho resident stationed in Washington with the Army. The most important thing I can come up with is to post a thread any time there is an opportunity for hunters to gather together and make thier voice known to the public. For example when Fish and Game is having a conference to decide on issues such as these, it would be benefitial to have a chance to speak our minds in the conference. But if just a few people show up who's going to listen? A lot of the time we are left Brick Wall,) banging our heads against the wall at uneducated decisions made that we could have had a part in.

Fish and Game and the general public need to know that there are hunters who would gladdly even pay to have the opportunity to hunt some longer seasons or specialized hunts for what most states reffer to as "nuisance" animals. I am not saying this about the Bears and Cougars, but that is the way it seems they are treating them. If they are considering paying someone to come in and remove the animals then they are looking at them as a nuisance. In texas you didn't need a tag to hunt Feral hogs cause they were a "nuisance." Given the opportunity many hunters, Archers, General Rifle hunters, Hound Runners, would gather to have a chance at extra hunts.

Just my Two cents,
-Rick
