What Happen to the Knight Disc Elite Rifle???

I heard a lot of good information on this rifle Knight Disc Elite in 50 Caliber with stainless steel receiver and black composite stock and finally this year was thinking of getting one only to find it is no longer available. I have been using a Traditions Lightning Bolt Action but was looking to upgrade to one of these Knights.

Anyone know why it was dropped / discontinued from their line up? If anyone has one what is your opinion on how it performs???

Just wondering why Knight dropped it from its line of rifles...

Thanks,

LFM, the Elite is one of the most accruate Muzz rifles ever made...I don't know why they discontinued it but you better get one while they are still around.
Here is a full review, take it for what it's worth.

What Happen to the Knight Disc Elite Rifle???

FairChase,

I got one this month from SportsmanGuide in .50 Cal. Stainless with the Black Composite Stock at a Great Price before they sold out of them... They did still have it in Blued .50... Also at a good Price and since come down even more I think it is at 219.99 if they still have them...

I found that Article but thanks I am on another Muzzleloader Forum that the Author of the article is a member mordernmuzzleloader.com.

Getting it ready to shoot hopefully next year when I have time to dial it in!!!

Thanks for the Info!!!

Great!!! What Scope have you decided on for use with this Rifle???

Seems That I went with a Simmons 3-10X44 Mag that they had but now the issues is which rings??? Being each manufacturer has different heights and thus some are a lot higher and I like to try and keep them as close to the barrel as possible.

Got one set from a main supplier and when they arrived they were not "high" but looks marking of the packaged had issues being they were really lows so this scope did not work. Since I am a novice with knowing what rings measured what. I then switched to another brand. The first ones were to be .525 and they were only .250. The set I have now ordered are .420 hoping these will work... Being I like to use Butler Creek Caps so a little extra clearance is needed.

So I am waiting for these new ones to arrive to be sure they will work...

So what scope have you chosen???

That 44 size is right between medium and high for most ring companies. It seems that the makers have different specs, and measurements as far as height is concerned. I sure you'll find some , that works well...good luck.

I went with a Ziess conquest 3X9X40 and Warne Maxima QD rings in medium height.
