The 30.06 is undoutably the most versatile rifle on the market. It can handle any game in North American and has the best selection of ammo. A beautiful calibre for the relaoder too. I can't think of a bad thing to say about the 30.06
I'll leave disussions on the 6.5's to those more knowledgeable of the calibre.
