What do you see in New England for acorns and other nuts?

A friend says that he sees no acorns, beech nuts etc in CT. What do you see where you are?

We are most interested in Southern Vermont.

spotty

I have found a few beech nuts and acorns. When you find them the trees that have them seem to be loaded. There are a lot more beech nuts than acorns this year. I live only about a mile from the vermont line in western mass. So if you find the trees that have them you will find the deer.
