I wear green, carry a gun, and get to chase people around the southern border all day long.  Been doing it for 14 years.

nice

In my line of work i see a lot of strange stuff, being in peoples homes where you just scratch your head. I've seen drug labs (i usally turn those in) , whore houses, you name what strange things people do and i have seen it, and then some of the businesses i go are just plain interesting. its fun though.

lol

I didnt even catch that when i wrote that, the funny thing is, I havent turned in a whore house, the cops usally know that they are there. with the drug labs they pop up all over the place and i really dont like the meth labs in my community. there are a lot of pot grow opperations but most are legal under the oregons medical pot laws. so i dont really bother with those.

Professional Life? Yeah

Professional Life? Yeah right... not yet anyway. I am going to Colorado State University and am pursuing a degree in wildlife biology. I volunteer with the National Park Service and Colorado Division of Wildlife. During the summers I find field jobs working in wildlife management. This past summer I worked primarily on bighorn sheep up in Rocky Mountain National Park. I also got my hands dirty working with raptors, bears, elk and even got to introduce threatened Boreal Toads. I got to live in an amazing place and work with amazing people. I am currently working for the CDOW on Chronic Wasting Disease. Time flies at work when you are just dealing with wildlife and hunters all the time.

cool

Sounds like you ave a lot of fun (maybe not the school stuff). I would love to be able to work in the mountains as a wildlife biologist. I think spending as much time as possible in the hills would be sweet, I'd pretty much get paid to scout for hunting season. with my job i work outdoors in the city, but its not so fun when its raining and cold hanging off power poles. good luck with the schooling, how much time do you have left?
