What do you do

when you get pinned in a stand and it after legal time what do you do to get out and not spook the deer?...

I wiggle my nose back n forth

I wiggle my nose back n forth an reappear back at truck...lol....No,serious,i've been there B4 i usually sit there a bit more,hope'n deer wander's off...i've made it out on sum,and got BUST'd on sum...Once it git's dark your eye's start play'n game's on ME....

I will usually sit there a while and hope they move on. If not I try and get down and leave stealthily as possible and hope I don't get nailed. Sometimes I get busted and sometimes I don't

depnds on the deer...

Regs might force the issue - you might legally be required to leave the stand anyway. Where I hunt you just have to unload/or encase your weapon.

I've never had it happen but wondered what I'd do. If it was a shooter I'd sure try and wait him out so as to not spook him...if it was a little runt I'd probably not worry about it. Maybe try and throw a stick or something that sort of sounds natural away from your set-up so they don't get a fix on your stand and automatically associate the area with humans.

Tough call though

I've sat in the stand for an hour after dark to make sure the deer have move/feed away. Can't risk spooking the deer.
