What is the best Expandable broadhead out today?

I have always been a big fan of expandable broadheads, vortex and rage, and have taken most of my animals with them.  I notice there are a lot more coming out in the market with new technology.  What is your favorite expandable and why??

I like the rage 2 or 3 blade

I like the rage 2 or 3 blade expandable broadhead because it brings down the deer.

The only expandable I have

The only expandable I have used is the 3 blade Rage.  But I really like the design of the G5 T3, may just have to give them a try for a try on antelope in WY in 3 weeks.  But for elk I will be using the Slick trick Magnums!

The only expandable that I've

The only expandable that I've used is the rage 2 blade.  In my opinion their design is a good one (rear deploying which saves kinetic energy) although they are a pain in the arse to keep in a quiver without the blades expanding.  I never tried the rocky mountain snyper's but I heard that they are virtually the same as the rage, but they utilize a rubber band to keep the head from opening till impact.  The main reason I switched away from expandables is due to the fact that they are pretty much a one shot deal, no way to sharpen them and replacing blades is a pain or not even an option.

Expandable broadheads

I have shot many different expandables for many years. I really like the Rage 2 blades and Rocket 3 blades. This year I am going with Blood Runners 100 gr . I can't wait to see how they do. Evil!

I love what the 3 blade Rage

I love what the 3 blade Rage did for me last year, bringing both of my elk down within 50 yards. Having them shake loose in the quiver is something I’m willing to deal with because they are so devastating on game.

Hey GooseHunter,

I saw the G5 T3 in my Cabelas catalogs (not in person because I’m still in Iraq) and I’m very interested to hear how they work out for you.  I would like to hear how good they stay together in the quiver compared to the rage.  Good luck on your hunt let us know how it goes.

Hopefully I will get to report back here in a few weeks as I will be chaing goats in WY.  I swithed quivers from an Octace to a Tight Spot.  I hope to not have any issues with the quiver getting in the way.

I love the 2 blade Rage.

I love the 2 blade Rage. I've personally seen the damage they have done on the whitetails my son and I have taken down.

I use the rage two blade

I use the rage two blade broadheads and find them to be very accurate and effective.  I don't like the o ring and may try the surefire switch blade during the off season.  I've asked for some opinions on it, but so far no takers.
