What animal drives your passion the most?

Although I enjoy hunting any animal that I can get a license for I will take a deer hunt over any other animal without question. I love to see big bulls and hope to get a nice one but my heart races faster when I spot deer. I don't know if it's because I started as a deer hunter first or if there are other reasons but that's the way it is.

All of us are different so which one drives you crazy and why do you think that is?

Has to be elk...cow or bull

Has to be elk...cow or bull it does not matter to me.  There is just something about chasing them thru the woods that reallt get my blood a pumping....you just never gonna know when that bull or cow is gonna come out of the woods and put on a shoe for ya.  My second choice would be antelope...gonna love hunting speed goats.

Sheep - Unfortunately

Much to my dismay, the species I most fantasize about has to be sheep, specifically desert sheep.  I've been lucky enough to hunt these several times, once with my tag & more with friends.  Also been on California & Rocky Mtn sheep hunts.  Economics being what they are, it is doubtful if I'll ever hunt Dall or Stone sheep, let alone any of the old world species but it doesn't stop me from wanting to.

For just plain fun with lots of opportunities to pass up on or to mess up antelope hunting is hard to beat.  The perfect hunt for families, especially with kids.

For me it is just hunting.

For me it is just hunting.  It doesn't matter if it is for lizards which I did a lot of when I was a kid with my first BB gun in Arizona to a trophy bull elk, it all gets my heart pumping.  Right now my favorite animal is the javelina, and not the ones that come into a feeder so that you can shoot them.  In my hunts for them in Arizona I have found that they are a very elusive animal and once you think that you know what they are about to do they do the opposite.  This year I am going to concentrate on a antelope and hopefully depending on Utah's draw a bison.  I am also in the planning stages of a mountain grizzly bear hunt in British Colombia next May.

So actually the real answer to your question is what ever season it is and what ever animal I am after at that time.

#1 would be grizzly bear. I

#1 would be grizzly bear. I was lucky enough to see a large grizzly (at a distance) while in Alaska last spring and if I win the lottery, that's the first thing that $$$ will buy, an Alaskan Grizzly hunt. My next most popular hunt is black bear, followed by big hogs.

I did a brown bear/grizzly

I did a brown bear/grizzly hunt when I was a ripe old age of 19.  I saved everything that I could from the time I was 9 or 10 and went on a cheap hunt and did manage to bad a brown bear.  But now that hunt is way over my budget and a lot of others out there since a guide is going to run you $20,000+ for a hunt.  That is where I decided of a mountain grizzly.  Instead of being able to get fat and lazy they are slim and trim and in fighting shape, and I personally think that they look a lot better than their coastal cousins.

Brown bear for me.  I've spent enough time up close and personal with them to have tremendous respect for them.  There's so much power there, and as a species they're so well designed for what they do.  There's also something special about a hunt where you know you're in his territory, on his turf, using his trails and sitting on his food source -- and you could easily become part of his food chain if he gets the drop on you.  It doesn't matter where I see them.  It could be on a hunt, in a national park, or just along a river...they fascinate me every time.

moose

It has to be moose. While I love deer hunting and turkeys are tasty. And I love seeing geese sail in and I love the thrill of the idea of dangeraous game hunting. But nothing tastes better than those massive moose and hunting to me is based on the idea of filling the freezer. I'd give up everything else to moose hunt every fall

Not that I want to give up anything else in hunting at all, but hunting moose all the time - wow that would be great! Sign me up for sure!
