thenailk nows this story,happened before and happened again an hour ago. Had a couple of traps by the back deck as I get the odd rodent from the neighbours horse barn.
Had to pull the critter from under the deck to the middle of lawn and make sure it died instantly and left the hose spraying down the grass to get rid of the odor as it will leak out.

Live traps are great, as long as the skunk can't see you(not an open trap)
