went for a drive through yakima canyon saturday...

Big smile and saw you wont belive it my mom,dad a friend and i saw 70+ mule deer and 9 big horn sheep in the canyon and on our way back over the mountains we saw 13 elk 12 were cows or anlerless and one 5x6 out side of cle elum one muskrat on the side of the river lots of herons probably 7-8. 2 turkeys man what a day to remember cool thing is that actually remembered my camera this time its a 35mm so i will try and get pics up as soon as possible. i have not seen animals like this since i lived in idaho . so does anybody know good access points the oak creek wildlife areas and lt.murry wildlife areas . also i would love to hear antbody elses storys about what they have seen as well.thanx superdown

Yep, put some photo'sn here. I love riding around looking at animals. You sound like a young man so you may not know who John Jobson was or Russel Anabelle. If you can find some of their stuff you'll likely love it. They're hunting storys weren't about the kill, rather the adverture and the place they were. They loved the animals! Thumbs up

Gonna try and put a couple photos in here. First is "Pete", long gone now but never forgotten; Then three Mule Deer Bucks about a mile from home; then a Great Eggret in So. California.
