Well SoCo, what do you think???

As the number one Obama supporter on these boards, just wondering what you think of Obama's VP pick? Biden - good or bad?

BTW - in case you're wondering how I feel, I'll have to get back to you on Monday after Rush tells me what to think and say about this Evil!

I just watched a previous clip of Rush's thoughts on Joe Biden, which was humorous....a bit unpleasant, but humorous nonetheless. He'll have all weekend to prepare for his Monday show, so I'm sure he'll have a lot to say.

With that being said, I really won't be waiting for what Rush has to say. I'm more interested in what Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter have to say.

Don't get too wound up......I'm just kidding too.

As a side note, there are a lot of Hilary supporters that are happy Hillary wasn't picked as the VP, because it makes it easier for them to vote against Obama.

Hagel Weighs In
Sen. Chuck Hagel (Republican-NE) issued the following statement on the Biden selection:

"Joe Biden is the right partner for Barack Obama. His many years of distinguished service to America, his seasoned judgment and his vast experience in foreign policy and national security will match up well with the unique challenges of the 21st Century. An Obama-Biden ticket is a very impressive and strong team. Biden's selection is good news for Obama and America."

Collin Powell is also a good freind of Biden, there's speculation Powell might give endorsement speach at convention for Biden.

Most people will probably attribute the selection to shoring up Obamas supposed lack of experience in foreign policy. I think the biggest benefit is so many years in the senate, ten more than McCain, and his experience getting legislation passed. As a win begins to look more likely attention will naturaly shift to actually passing legislation. One of Clintons biggest failings was not knowing how to wield the levers of power due to unfamiliarity.

I just like how Biden said that Obama is not ready to be president, that it's not a place for on the job training. He even said he stood by that statement...... Yes

Guys do you think if Mccain picks Mitt or any of the other guys that were running against him for the repub nomination there isn't going to be a truck load of similar ammo for Obama to use.

As I recall Mitt and he got into some heated exchanges. Unless he picks someone who wasn't running as well this will occur.

I think most people will be able to distinguish the fact that at that time they were trying to beat the other one and those exchanges will be taken in that context.

I agree with you, and I don't agree with you. Yes, both sides do it, including McCain and Romney, but does that make it right? Should we take it in "Context" What context is it? Basically what you and they are saying is that either they lied then, or they are doing it now. They said negative things about the other one, so what changed their minds? the fact that they want to be vice president??? I think not. It goes with what is always said, that politicians (both parties) are two-faced.

Well, when you are running against another guy you will pull out all the stops if you really want to win. Also, he said he felt he lacked experience and in my opinion they can overcome that. Would be different if he said he was a lying scum sucking motherless goat, if you get my drift. (Another words called him on something in an unforgivable manner).

Look at what Bush did to Mccain in 2000 with the push polls about his daughter, now they are chummier then two teletubbies.

That was as low as I've seen politics go in a presidential primary. When McCain started hugging GW , I lost my McCainiacism.

I have that classic photo I could post but don't want to upset anyones delicate sensibilities.

So who is the VP? The Huckser? Romney? Craig?
