Well, it's up.....

Put up my first trail camera out here.  I am always the pessimist, so I am pretty sure it will be stolen when I go to retrieve it.  Plus, after leaving, I started second guessing myself, thinking it was pointing too low.  I may get nothing but feet.

I am trying to lessen the chance of it being stolen by putting it ip just before dark on Sunday, and picking it up first thing Saturday.  Just trying to get a sample of what is there, and maybe by not having it up for a weekend will makes it less likely to be encountered.

So, if my pessimism proves to be false, hopefully I will have a photo or 2.  We'll see.

Good luck!! Hopefully you

Good luck!! Hopefully you won't have any problems and you'll get some good pictures to share with us. I've never used a trail camera but would like to give it a try in the future as well. I don't think I'd have too much problem here as nobody really uses them and wouldn't be looking, plus very few people hike during the summer where I do most of my hunting. It gets over run during the hunting season but I've never once seen anyone else out there this time of year.

What zone

What zone A22 ? i hope you get sum good pics to share with us. The bigest problem i have setting up cameras is making shure all the little things that are blowing in the wind out of the way so i don't have 200 pics of a leaf.

Yes, I put it up in A22.  I

Yes, I put it up in A22.  I am not holding my breath, but I still hope it will be there.  Either was, I found a pretty decent trail.  I think what would be more disappointing than it getting stolen, would be the fact that someone else was looking at that trail...... frown
