Absolutely Correct!

 

Will_Hunt4Food - you are absolutely correct!  And that is why I have retired from that rat-race.  I am happy to harvest does/cows for filling the freezer.  Just wish I was able to enjoy a pronghorn doe as well here.  Maybe next year!

Retired,

I will be doing a late season hunt in 2012, this year, and I thank everyone for their comments as I learned a lot regarding late season opportunities, or lack there of.

I hope 2012 is a success for you and you get your speed goat. I hope to get a few as well, along with the deer I should've gotten in 2011.

Thanks Biker!  I am planning to do both - a late season and an early season if possible.  I too have learned a lot from the comments and hope to put that to good use here in another 7 months!  I wish you success as well in all of your 2012 hunts - especially that deer!  Thumbs up
