I requested more equity in hunting opportunity between the hunter groups. Personally, I feel that some groups of hunters in this state receive more of the best hunt opportunities in this state. How about equal access irregardless of weapon choice. IE: Bow/Muzzle/Modern, each groups gets the exact same amount of days in the woods. How about alternating the seasons, for these groups. Muzzle guys get the snow, Bow get the Rut...how about switching so modern guys get a whack at bugling a bull in once...? What do you think? Let them know.
Winter is tough on whitetails, that is an accepted fact.
You can help the quality of your herd by providing winter plots - that are not necessarily designed as kill plots.
Having what I call green plots - that the deer can browse in when most of the other food is gone, can greatly benefit the deer herd when they need it most.
